Any Linux kernel based OS, such as: Cordia HD, MeeGo, Ubuntu and even Android.
The tablet will come with Cordia HD preloaded.

Should be around 300 USD.
It's a compromise between usability and portability.
And frankly - there isn't that much choice on the market. 7” is the smallest tablet available.
After using it daily for few weeks I find the size perfect both on the couch and while commuting.
As we are not funded with big money, we need to work with existing hardware that is already designed and manufactured.
I did my best to choose the best hardware available.
It's manufactured with Android, but the hardware is very close to the reference board, so it runs all Freescale supported systems.
There is a rocker button on the side of the device, labeled “Menu” and “Back”.
Since Cordia HD does not need hardware menu nor back keys, it will be used as volume/zoom rocker.
